My Cantonese speaking parents needed to update their estate planning documents, and our attorney recommended Bao's service as an interpreter. Estate planning involves complex concepts that can be very difficult to translate well. Although both my brother and I speak Cantonese and have tried to interpret for our parents, we realized it was too easy for our parents to misunderstand what we were saying to them, and it was best to have a professional interpreter available.
Bao was great to work with. On the two occasions we worked with her, she was punctual, prepared, and ready to work. She's also very friendly, outgoing, exhibited a lot of patience, and developed a great rapport with my parents, who felt very comfortable with Bao and trusted her. Both my brother and I even learned a few Chinese words and phrases from Bao (it's not everyday that we use legal terms when talking with our parents).
